The 2021 iPad Pro release date could land in late March or April. If you’re interested in buying a new iPad Pro this year, there are some things you should do before the new model arrives.

If you’re in the market for a new tablet, Apple’s iPad Pro line should be somewhere on your list. And while the 2020 iPad Pro and 2018 iPad Pro models are excellent options, some of you might want to hang around to see what Apple’s got up its sleeve in 2021.

Nothing is confirmed, but numerous sources believe Apple will unveil new iPad Pro models in 2021. The new iPad Pro will reportedly come with several upgrades including a mini-LED display, 5G support, and more.

We’ve seen a few different 2021 iPad Pro release dates, but most credible sources point to an arrival in the first half of the year with March and April the likely candidates for the device’s release date.

The latest is a report from Digitimes which claims Apple will launch a new iPad Pro with a mini-LED display in the second quarter. This means we could see the release date land sometime after April 1st.

A reputable source claims Apple’s March event will take place on March 23rd. This comes after Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman has dismissed rumors hinting at a March 16th launch.

Another report claims Apple will confirm an event on March 23rd with the product announcements coming a bit later on March 30th.

We’ve also seen a purported accessory for a new 11-inch iPad model appear at a retailer. Most iPad Pro rumors have centered on a 12.9-inch model, but Apple could also update the smaller iPad Pro as well.

The person who shared the photo claims the checkout system said the accessory couldn’t be sold until April 6th. And while that might not be the 2021 iPad Pro release date, it certainly fits in with the device’s rumored timeline.

So as of right now, we certainly could see Apple use its spring launch window to launch a new iPad Pro. The company historically has used the month of March to announce new iPad models so it makes sense.

Apple’s also reportedly planning to release a new sixth-generation iPad mini in 2021 and some believe it could arrive alongside the new iPad Pro.
